BIOGRAPHY

With a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Munich and a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture, Dafni combines both architectural and landscape disciplines to create dynamic territories that address immediate environmental and socio-political contexts. Born in Athens, Greece,  after obtaining technical skills and expertise in Germany as an Architectural Designer, Dafni moved to London to focus on innovation-based and climate responsive design. Her work stands out for its experimental and poetic narratives that push the boundaries of the landscape practice towards innovative solutions that respond to the urban fabric while performing under the influence of ever-changing ecosystem dynamics. Distinguished for innovation and design excellence with multiple awards, Dafni’s accolades include ‘The Architecture Drawing Prize 2021’, organised by World Architecture Festival and 1st Prize at the ‘Architecture Thesis of the Year 2020’. Her commitment to adaptive design gained her the Bartlett School of Architecture Medal for distinguished work in Landscape Architecture as well as the Environmental, History & Theory and MLA prizes. Currently, she works as a Strategic Designer at the Biourbanism Research Lab of McGregor Coxall.
